Cranky, Jock, or Smug?

I'm trying to decide to add in two new personality traits to my town as I'm getting bored of the ones I have now. so far I have no cranky, jock, or smug villagers but I can only add two of these at the moment. Which personality do you like best out of these? cranky and a jock? or cranky and a smug? or smug and a jock? ^-^ any help is appreciated thank you!

I agree with everyone else, except for jocks being annoying or having a repetitive dialogue. I do love my jock villagers, genji and kid cat and I don't find them annoying.

I would agree with the above and say Cranky and Smug. Smug villagers always make me laugh and Cranky villagers really stand out compared to the other villagers (seem much more mature with the voices and dialogue)

Actually all three can be super annoying; it really depends on personal preference.

I like all three personalities in moderate doses, but I would say smug & cranky are on the whole better than jock. I agree that jocks are pretty repetitive and really too narrow-minded in their dialogue.

Having said that, the appearance of the villager has an effect on their likability as well (duh). While I don't really like Boone or Rowan, I really like Genji and Snake's designs, so if you have a jock's design you really like, go for them over smug/cranky.

Cranky and jock.
That's my answer, and I'm sticking to it.
I don't care much for smugs.

Even though I love Rudy, my jock, I'll have to say cranky and jock. They have much more diverse and interesting personalities. c:

Aw lol poor jocks I remember I had Rowan in my old town and he was pretty random I thought. but he did talk about his muscles way too much, that can get a bit annoying very fast! thats true though the design is another thing that matters. so I think I'll add Chief as my cranky & Marshal or Keaton as my smug c: though maybe someday I can add in Genji! He looks really awesome.

Cranky and Smug. I can't say nothing bad about Jock, because I have Bill in my town and he's the wisest of all the jocks. He's a real cute jock for sure!

I really wish that the Jocks weren't so narrow-minded, it makes sense since they love sports and all, but it gets really really repetitive after a while.

Crankies are adorable doofuses, but they were really hilarious in older games.

And Smugs...they're smugs....

I agree with most everything that's been said. cranky and smug are 2 of my favorite personalities, but I also really love Teddy the jock bear; he's so adorable and doesn't get annoying to me. ^^

For me it'd be cranky or smug. There are so many great crankies and smugs to choose from, but Genji is about the only Jock I love so the choice is pretty clear lol
