^An example of my all covered path with the QR planks

So in Moriyo Village I have dirt paths with QR wooden planks on them also. They use to have a little bit of clovers but I thought the path would look nicer if it was all clovers and QR planks.

Well I haven't played in Moriyo Village for a while so when I started it back up I felt like I kind of didn't like the look of clovers completely covering the paths.

So which do you prefer, a dirt path completely covered in clovers or a dirt path with random sparse clovers?

i think for me personally, i’d prefer a dirt path with random sparse clovers; it just sounds better aha

I use random sparse clovers in my town because I think it looks more natural. I actually let them spawn naturally and just pluck the ones that I don't think are in a good spot.

But I've seen towns with full coverage of clovers and they look nice, too. They just look a bit more manicured and purposeful to me. So I guess it depends on what look you prefer. Either can be really nice.

I used to have paths made out of random sparse clovers, however without combining them with dirt or QR paths. I prefer this way more over completely covered ones, as it doesn't look so overloaded.

I like the random look on dirt paths, or the checker pattern.
All clover can look fine, it just it too much for me.

I like the checkered clovers on dirt paths with mushrooms and weeds here and there as well. I’m currently covering my dirt path areas with a checker board path so that clovers naturally spawn in open areas. I’ll kick the path away later and pluck any extra clovers that feel out of place.

i like sparse clovers because i prefer my towns to have a more natural feel. if the qr codes and clovers arent working id try getting rid of them and seeing what it looks like

Checkered, I haven't thought of that :o I might actually have enough to make a checkered path as well

Edit: just edited the OP to include how my town looks now with covered path clovers and planks. The planks are kinda random, they aren't in a set pattern. My path is also bordered with flowers and bushes so there really is no confusing where the path begins and ends.
