I dislike the coupons. I love the furniture you can buy but I have none of the amiibo cards and it seems like I've sort of missed the boat on this.

You can sell the coupons for bells! I think you get 3000 bells each.
I LOVE the meow coupons!
You only need ONE amiibo card or figure, to get 5 coupons from Wisp every day.
If you TT a lot like I do, that builds up.
I currently have over 5000 meow coupons.
Also, get more by completing the daily objectives, or playing the mini games, Desert Island Escape or Puzzle League, on the in-game consoles you get from forune cookies. ^_^

I still bought amiibo cards and figures even though I got late into the game.. more expensive, sadly. if you really want some it's probably best to buy handmade, since some products are discontinued.
anyway, MEOW coupons are really useful if you need some bells quickly. stockpiling them is pretty easy if you go out of your way to do it! getting an amiibo helps this along as Wisp gives you 5 per day for scanning in someone.

I dislike the coupon machine in front of city hall. Orange in a Fairytale town doesn't work. I tried to chop it with my axe.
Beginning I collected coupons for items but stopped after awhile. I now just use the coupons to buy items for my villagers.
You don't need the special amiibo cards to buy stuff. There are a lot of players that open their towns when they have a special RV. Others sell the special items

It costs 5 meow coupons per item in someone elses town.
It costs 3 if you use your own amiibo card(s). ^_^
I didn't know you can collect meow coupons from figures?
I literally just bought yesterday my first amiibo & it's villager amiibo lool definitely will check out if he wisp gave me meow coupons

I just tried my villager amiibo & wisp didn't give me anything ? lmfao he just told me to meet him at the campground & thats it, I didn't receive any meow coupons

Alright. Well, I purchased some amiibo cards for the 3ds from amazon and I'm going to test this out once they arrive. I honestly just want the furniture lol. there's so much good stuff I can get from the campsite

Remember, only the series 5 RV cards give you the new furniture!
just make sure your 3DS has a built in NFC reader (new 3DS do I think), or else you have to buy the NFC reader/writer accessory if yours is too dated. I have a pink (not new) 3DS XL that needs the accessory to scan in anything!
also be sure to talk to wisp and make him do something, or else he won't give you any MEOW coupons. regular amiibo cards, tell him to "give me something" if you don't want them to move in.
