I'm supposed to hopefully be getting Zell and Octavian, the only trouble is I have 8 villagers,
I'm a tiny bit worried that i'll get a random move-in, so if I invite one of them, for example, Zell, in today and tomorrow I will have 9 villagers, will the random move-in's stop at 9?
I thought they would.. but I had 9 and got a random after visitng my friends town. I don't think you'll get a random if you already have a plot for Zell though as long as you get Octavian relatively soon after.. I've had 9 pretty consistently so I would say I got it about 1week-2weeks of in game time after my 9th.
It's my understanding that you'll only get a random (generated by the game) if you have 8 or less. So if you're quick and invite Zell before the game has a chance to generate another, that should prevent the randomness.
