I was wondering if I could share my dream code here and I can have some people look at my island and see how they like it/ improve on it?
My town theme is like a little seaside town/ getaway resort. So it's not like super glamorous like a big city or anything.
I have a an apartment-style house in the residential section and a large mansion at the top of the hill.
my ideas were kind of thrown around but I feel like it all goes together quite nicely.

I'd love to! I can do it later today as I am busy with school right now.
In return, could you possibly take a look at mine? da 0314 1776 8309 ;) (you don't have to, but it'd be nice to hear some opinions... and, oh, it needs to be updated, so if you could wait until I'm done dreaming about yours and I update mine, that'd be great)

Hi, I visited your town just now.
Walking around, I noticed there were no frame drop, so I really like that.
It was very easy to walk around. The whole town is super simple and cute. I like easy navigation. I actually prefer the way you have it setup, than those other very cluttered towns.

The basement hotel bar was really nice!

The only thing I would maybe change is the area with the Sphinx , pyramid and Stonehenge. It just didn’t really give me a nautical vibe. Also the rock garden ( I couldn’t figure out how to get to it. Is that a toilet?

Ah, thanks for visiting!
I wanted to have a 'world garden's type thing right outside the resident services section. Just for fun.
I wanted to put the sphinx somewhere (I kinda crammed it in there. Might move it to the museum or beach)
The toilet is just in case I have energy on me before I go mining.

Hello sarosephie! I just visited.

I like the resort vibe and the details like the tanuki vendors and the seaweed on the beach were nice additions. Like the poster above, I also appreciated the ease of navigation and the lack of frame rate dropping. It was my first time seeing a 100% cat villager town and their personal yards with decks were lovely.

My only possible complaint is that in the three small ground floor rooms in Max's house there were so many tall objects (simple partitions and the kitchen set) that it was difficult to get an unobstructed view. Honestly though, that's really just down to my personal preference.

Overall it was a very cute and pleasant town to explore, thanks for posting it!

I'm gonna visit right now! Unfortunately my dream needs to be updated tomorrow, as my main room underwent a TON of design changes today (as did the back room) so I can't exactly ask for feedback for mine as the house is an older version, but I digress. By the way, gonna apologize in advance, as I'm writing this as I'm going through it, and I wanna write about everything as I experience it.
I immediately checked out the custom designs, and I love the Gyarados Kimono. As a Pokemon fan, any Pokemon representation in Animal Crossing makes me happy.
Are those Tanuki shopkeepers to the left? that's adorable. I love them. I approve of having a mono-cat island (as I'm a cat person) but Katt... well, if I had to chose, Kabuki would be there instead of her. Then again, I'm clearly biased, what with my profile picture being of Kabuki and all...
I love the little gardens outside the villagers' houses, and that pearl customization for the shell arch? perfect. Then again, the pearl customization is my favorite for the shell series.
In the first house I see a Tanuki just. staring at a vending machine. Dude, I want snacks too. Make up your mind! (I know you can't get snacks from the vending machines...)
using simple panels for doors is an awesome idea! The first room I checked was the back, which is nice and green. I recall seeing somewhere different colored rooms for a hotel, and I'm curious to see if that's what you're doing in this apartment complex...
Each room does have a different color theme! nice! I do feel like the rugs should match the color theme on the inside- so the green rug should be outside the green room, like the blue rug is with the blue room.
The upstairs feels like a larger apartment and I love it. I love the separation from the bedroom and bathroom, it feels natural. Having the basement be for laundry and DIY makes sense. I love it!
Having a tree-lined path to the mansion really makes it feel like the person in the mansion at the top right is separate from the rest of the island, and that's the house I'm gonna explore next.
(also, poolside area outside makes sense.)
...Maybe this is just me from growing up in the lower bracket of the American Middle Class, but rich people and their houses especially give me the feeling of "you don't belong." I can tell the person who has this house is rich, and it gives me that kind of feeling. And that's not a bad thing! That's me, as a person, and how I grew up that makes me feel that way. I can tell this is rich people territory, just from the main room. The back room study/office adds to this feeling. I do like the use of the security camera, and all the zodiac furniture as well as those villager pictures.
Cloud flooring in a bathroom just... makes sense. Mine is in the bedroom (since I don't have a bathroom in my own ACNH house) but I like how this looks.
The kitchen to the right is adorable. It feels open and welcoming, but still fancy. I don't know how to describe it.
All those plushies are adorable, and I like seeing them in the upstairs... which also has swords. Those are cool! next, the basement...
Dang, this is a fancy basement! I like it!
the last place I'm gonna check is "storage"'s house. Immediately, more welcoming. A second hotel, I love it. It matches the sort of beachy-vacation hotel look I feel you were going for. The first house reminded me more of a hotel I went to during midwinter break in school, this one feels more summer vacation. I don't have much to say other than I really like it, and the bar in the basement with yellow for the hyacinth lamp is a nice touch. I also like the simple panels being decorated with all sorts of glasses and drinks.
tl;dr: I like the island a lot, and I'll be sure to dream about it again!

The first house for Max is an apartment style house. I'm still working on adding more stuff. It's supposed to be like a little cluttered apartment.

gotcha! it did feel more like an apartment as compared to the second mansion, or the the third one as a hotel.

I was kinda going for like a new englandy feel since I love aesthetic when I was on a trip there.
for the mansion, that was the kind of aesthetic I saw? I'm not too sure, I haven't traveled much outside my state (Michigan, USA) but the mansion's aesthetic reminded me of old fancy houses, or even newer fancy houses.

Ooh. I love visiting dream towns. I'll definitely check yours out soon, and anyone else who posted on here that would like some feedback😄

Town of Viridia.

The fencing and plants around resident services looks so nice, and I'm loving the beautiful park to the left of it. I've seen lots of flower stands but not with the flower head bands. So cute and clever, and it's right next to the entrance for visitors to buy while vacationing.😄

Storage has such a lovely yard. The main room is so unique. I love the bedroom upstairs. I think I'll move in. The basement is awesome. The small side rooms look great too. The music playing is very creepy. Lol. This is my favorite hotel I've seen so far. Great job.

The toilet entrance to the rock garden made my day. I wasn't sure what I was sitting on at first, until it flushed. Lol

Max's house is also so well done. I can't believe you were able to put an entire apartment in those small rooms, but you did it and they look great. The basement is my favorite.

P.C's yard and pool area is beautiful. What are the round pictures in the main room called? I love them. Once again, another awesome house. WOW!! on the basement. Super cute kitchen.

Your town was a joy to visit.

I just updated my town. It's simple, but cute, and unique. It has a few funny areas too. I would love a visit , if you have time. DA- 0700-5178-8683.

Thank you so much for visiting! It means a lot to see people's opinions!
I didn't think mine was up to par, but it makes me feel better for sure!

Hello there! Just visiting your island right now :) I love what the food cart stands in the middle area! Sorry for picking your two flowers. I was curious if I could do it while dreaming. And turns out I can lol.
