I definitely think he'll make an appearance at some point. In fact I'd be shocked if he doesn't
That said, I have no idea what role he'll have. But they gave simple roles to Harv, Rover, and other NPCs, so I'm sure they'll give something to him too

I am sure we'll get the Shrunk dance at some point! Probably when he returns to the game
