cottage/fairycore villagers?

i havent played acnh for a hot minute, and i just restarted my island...i saw something about this website a while back, so i thought itd be a good idea to make an account and go to the people...im not sure if theres been any new villagers since i last was active in the game...i remember audie and sherb and all those, and i heard about the sanrio characters, but i was wondering if there were any new villagers?

even if there arent, id love some recommendations on villagers that fit the cottagecore and fairycore aesthetic ! <3

first off, welcome to tbt!! i think there's a thread floating around atm surrounding cottagecore villagers, from my memory the main suggested villagers from there were Maple, Erik, Beau, Fauna, Olive, Sheldon perhaps?? (editing to add the other thread here)
i don't know a ton about fairycore but diana springs to mind, and some of the new sanrio villagers could fit in there but you'd have to have the cards for them. they're the only new villagers that've been added since audie/sherb etc

i have a whole (LONG) list of potential fairycore villagers as I want to make my second island fairycore when I finish my spacecore island.

fairycore: diana, sherb, julian, etoile, tia, merengue, gala, mint, marshal, drago (an unpopular choice but he IS a dragon), gayle, fang, freya, chrissy, francine, cookie, cheri, stitches, bluebear, scoot, marcie, judy, knox, sterling, bunnie, bianca, blanche, midge, stella, roscoe (another unpopular choice but i think one mostly black villager in a fairycore town full of white and pastels is so cool), muffy, fuchsia, phoebe, nana, whitney, filbert, chevre, nan, ruby, sprinkle, agnes, lily, miranda, malllary, marina, tangy, biskit, bob, skye, flora, chadder, rosie, peaches, lolly, dotty, frita, megan, lucy, becky, ketchup, kiki, piper, june, annalise, hopkins, hornsby, murphy, julia, norma, olive, cleo, chelsea, chai, pietro
