Corrupted town save data

I don't know if anyone has suggested this or not (I'm really sleepy right now so I didnt read all 4 pages)

But Isabelle automatically saves the game at 6AM. You could set your clock to like 5:59 or something and enter the game then wait to see if Isabelle saving the game for you fixes the issue.

i'm actually playing skyrim, so i'm not doing anything on new leaf. i'm just leaving it open for you to get your stuff here =^_^=
i am paying attention to the game though, so ill be able to see when you're done putting your stuff down / if you say that you're done in-game.

No another internet failure, I think you have done enough, you can keep one toy hammer, and any extra golden tool I left on the ground,

I'm not sure if you knew this or not but I had a similar problem, someone explained your game backups when you have a dream address.so if you started over, if you enter the dream address of your old town you can restore it that way!

A few people told me about on here, it's a good thing to know so you'd still have everything from your old town!

Erm, I haven't read everything in this thread, but it sounds like only your second character (or third and/or fourth?) has the corrupt data. - which I've seen recently can happen from other people.)
Try to move all of their stuff you want to keep into a holding town and delete their house only and see if your mayor can save then.
