Corrupted town save data

I'm not sure if you knew this or not but I had a similar problem, someone explained your game backups when you have a dream address.so if you started over, if you enter the dream address of your old town you can restore it that way!

A few people told me about on here, it's a good thing to know so you'd still have everything from your old town!

I can't even enter Dream Address since this triggers the corrupt message

Erm, I haven't read everything in this thread, but it sounds like only your second character (or third and/or fourth?) has the corrupt data. - which I've seen recently can happen from other people.)
Try to move all of their stuff you want to keep into a holding town and delete their house only and see if your mayor can save then.

Both are corrupt not only my second villager but I attemped to delete her, in the moment her house is destroyed the corrupt triggers, when I reload she is there again.

Have you tried saving through saving a design/letter?

Yes nothing happened

Plus there was an update today for AC (at least on my system, and I play every day so), so that might fix your problem :)

My game is up to date I didn't recive notices about a AC update but I manually updated with the in game option to no avail.

I have updated OP with details of my game issues, honestly I haven't seen anything like this

If you want the town completely deleted hold A, B, X and Y before the title screen even opens. (Literally open AC from the 3ds home screen and when the little loading train appears start mashing down all 4 buttons repeatedly.)
It'll ask if you want to delete all data. This is an override option which should restore the cartridge to factory settings.

I've not heard of a corruption like that before though, did you manage to get enough of your stuff stored with someone else?

Well I can only try if this works, so thanks for the suggestion even knowing it won't work every time Isabelle ask me if I really want to erase the town, I feel really sad.

Yes I stored some of my most priced items, some of them aren't even rare, but the method to do so is painfully slow so I stored only a few items, lots of my dlc reorderables and most of my series will be lost.

Thanks

I tried this reset and failed too. Even after showing my town will be deleted, I quited and loaded the game again and my old town is still there.

Okay, well that method works even on copies of the game so damaged they can't even load the title screen. Just to be clear, did you actually tell it to delete the town? (Because your post says you quit and reloaded, which won't help it unless you actually delete the data.)
If so, I am going to say you must've either disconnected the ram somewhere, or managed to make your game card read only. Did you drop or somehow hit the cartidge at some point around the time this started? You might want to try sending it to nintendo and seeing what they can do, cause it sounds to me like somethings actually broken inside the game case.

Yes I "erased" it, the game said that my town got erased, but to be sure like with every other method if I quit and enter again my old town is back, if I create a new town and save and quit when I try to enter the corrupt message shows up, if I quit and enter my old town is back again, I can play but can't save or change anything from my last save on thursday I think.

I didn't drop my game, but I am starting to think something broke or disconnect inside the game card, I am considering buying a new copy, I presume the cost of sending and repairing my current game would be really close to buying another

Oh, I meant if you already had created a dream address prior to all this, in a brand new game, any cartridge, if you visit the dream of your old town when in the dream you can restore it to replace the new game. I'd say contact nintendo though it may take forever for them to actually help, but it sounds like the whole cartridge is corrupt. Have you traded any items recently? If you yourself never duped or did anything to mess it up the only thing I could think of is maybe someone without you knowing gave you an item they had duped and that messed it up? I hope you are able to sort it out! :l

I didn't upload a dream address but I don't think this actually works, but maybe you are right, the thing is I don't have a way to prove it. Sending or contact Nintendo is not a real option since in my country Nintendo doesn't over a support sevice except for some private services acredited by them that are in another state. Long story short, I might end up wasting more money sending the game and paying for a repair, without even a warranty on Nintendo's part.

Actually I have decided to buy a new game as sad as that might sound. But thanks for thanking your time trying to help me.

It's new game, new town for me now, I managed to save a few things but the pain to start again is real
