That was...extremely disturbing...

Forget the scary/creepyness, that scene alone made it "not for kids".

Wow, what is so "scary" and "inappropriate for children" about an animated movie? I've never seen it..Which one is more inappropriate for children: the saw movies, halloween, or Coraline..

That's a terrible way of thinking, IMO.

I can name a million not-for-kids animated movies. Even look at most of Disney's stuff. Sure, they might come across like children were their target audience...but in reality, kids wouldn't understand a fourth of what's going on.

Animated movies are for adults just as much as they are for kids.

It's just a shame so few people see it that way.

I didn't mean it that way...I know they can be for adults as well as kids, but most of the animated movies that I've seen focused on making it suitable for kids as well.

Anyway, I don't know if I'll go see the movie. I usually don't go see movies a lot.. I sometimes go see them, but usually I get them on DVD or rent them to watch them on TV.. but nothing beats the movies. Mmm.. movie theater popcorn. :gyroiddance:

Yes...anyway, I do suggest anyone who's thinking about seeing it, to see it. It's well worth watching.

Well anyway, I probably won't see a movie anytime soon. I just don't get out a lot in the winter. I leave it for summer or spring or fall. Not winter.. :brrrr:

I had read the book, and I was really excited for the movie. I recently went and saw it and it was amazing!! I really enjoyed it, and Dakota Fanning did an amazing job as the voice of Coraline. <3
