Convince me to Reset or Stay?

When I first started playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I just jumped right in. I went with the first map Rover gave me and named my town the first Pokemon city that came to mind. I am now beginning to regret those decisions.

I don't know if I want to reset to make a more ideal town or not. I decided to make a Pros and Cons list for resetting to help me:

Pros
New Town Name
*MUCH* Better Town Layout

Cons
Have to find People to Hold Villagers, Items & Money
Rebuild Mayor's House
Re-landscape ENTIRE Town (Sweet Mother of Pearl)
Reset PWP List
Redevelop Main Street
Relive Isabelle's Tutorial *shudder*

The Cons beat out the Pros, but I am still on the fence with my decision. ;_; I need to be convinced one way or the other, and I dont know how.
I really don't want to flip a coin. e_e

I recently reset and i don't regret it but then again i didn't have too much stuff and i only had 5 of my dreamies come with me (one might be getting the boot soon because he plotted bad). I don't regret it but i wasn't too far into my game and i just started landscaping and my main street was complete. I hated my layout so much though and now i have one i love.

Is the town layout bad because you can't figure out a way to make it work for you, or is it bad because it doesn't seem to be one everyone likes? Pretty much any layout can be made into something nice, it depends on the individual.

The town name is a bit of a glaring one if you don't like it, though.

Aww, crap. I forgot about villagers ploping their houses anywhere they wanted. That is gonna have to go under the Cons.

The layout I don't like simply because I know there are better ones out there.
Like, half of my landscaping plans had tobe scrapped thanks to those gray eyesores we all call rocks.

All you really need is a relandscape. The main issue I see are the flowers and how some of the trees are arranged. The pathing looks fine to me.

I think... I think I may just work out a compromise with myself.
I think I'll just buy a second game to play on.
That way I'll have up to twenty dreamies instead of ten, AND I'll keep Opelucid and be able to restart too!

I doubt that you need the 30 dollars. You seem to have quite a bit of TBT that you could use to purchase hybrids. What you really need are some hybrids to add some more variety into your town. You could grow them yourself, but if you grow impatient, Re-Tail sub is your best bet. If you're in dire need of some bells go to the island and farm some bugs. When you have a bit of cash saved up start using turnips to make 10m gains.
