Okay, so I know I've done this with Punchy, but I didn't convert him to a new theme. I just finished his house with all of the blue set. Only one item hasn't changed, which is his stove.

I want to change Pietro's house to the minimalist set, but I was wondering if this is possible? It's been a long time, (since second day of acnl release) and Punchy still hasn't gotten rid of his stove or asked me to replace it, which makes me have doubts about converting all of Pietro's house.

So... is this possible? Has anyone ever done this? ;0;

also yis i luv pietro's colorful design/house but i think his house would look gud with minimalist set

How long did it take to do punchy's house?

Well, It's still a thing to maintain since they change items on their own, but to get it to where it is now, maybe a month or two. It would've gone faster if I befriended him a lot earlier than I did.
since fauna was my#1 bb in the beginning

I tried to do this with Molly with the Rococo series, it isn't easy. I gave up because she would just replace it or wouldn't even use it. I wish you luck though.

it's def possible, I replaced everything in Marina's house w/ remade kiddie furniture except the bathtub which I wanted her to keep lol.
I've also replaced everything at least once in Beau's house!

How do you have the patience and luck to do that?! ;A;

Whenever I try to send something, they'd either just put it up on Re-Tail or refuse to put it up...
I'm slowly trying to convert Francine's house to the customized blue polka-dot furniture item(s) though :3

You should go for it! Most of my villagers have houses with fully customizable furniture but yes, some villagers have one or two items that just simply can't be replaced. I find it best to send the villager a good number of the items you want them to have, and then when they invite you over or ask for replacement furniture you can choose specifically what furniture pieces can go and what can be replaced.

It's definitely possible, I'm redecorating my villager's houses and in my experience, the only items they don't replace are fossils, bugs, and fish (but you can get them to replace those by sending them items of the same size and hoping it works).

An easy way to get them to get rid of items is just to be invited by them to visit their place then buy it from them. That way, even if they don't say "I'm looking for an item to replace this", you'll still remove it from their house. If they have a free spot that makes them more likely to put stuff of the same size on that empty space so you can send them something in the mail that is the same size. You can do that anyway without buying the item from them but if you do, there's a chance they'll replace another item of the same size with it instead.
