Considering resetting, centered resident services :/

The thing is, my switch broke and I had to get a new one and my progress was lost :/ I thought I wanted the same layout on my next island with a centered resitental services, but now I kind of regret it? I see maps where the airport and RS is more to the side allowing more freedom and space to work with on the center of the map. I havent gotten far on my new game at all, no important DIY and I haven’t unlocked terraforming. I have my dreamies, but a family member can hold them + my items for me.
If I keep this map I will have to move all the villager houses because of dumb placement.

Should I reset or not?:/

If you have someone to hold your villagers and your stuff for you, I think there is no problem in resetting! Although I wished I had a centered resident services, my layout looks a little wacky with the pathing going up from airport to nowhere, bc you have to turn left so you can get to RS lol

It doesn't sound like you have much to lose, to be honest, if you don't feel you're that far into the game and someone can hold items/villagers for you.

Just be weary of the hassle of moving villagers around.

Otherwise, it sounds like you've already made up your mind, honestly!

Just reset it, it's easier to work with something that's out of the way rather with something that's right in your face, like the town hall + airport.

It sounds like you've already made up you mind to be honest. But I think that centre resident services are really nice, mine is in the centre too. Since it's where all the events happen and where villagers seem to spend a lot of time, I think it makes sense for it to be at the heart of the island

I personally love your map with the heart shaped pond and that little nook of land nestled in the cliff on the left. I think you could make an awesome town with that map, but if your heart isn't in it and you really feel like resetting then it's better to do it now than wait until you're further into the game!

Yeah I think you should. Sounds like the only problem is getting a map that suits your needs/wants. Since your items and villagers will be held for you.
