Yesterday my character was very brown, today she is even darker. I'm a pasty white girl! I don't like her being this dark.. so yesterday I made her go around with an umbrella all day. Didn't work one bit. What am I to do?

This is my question exactly. Dark is such a bad skin color in this game. I finally got tan cuz I leave my game on sitting there.

Just try not to leave your 3DS on, while your character is in the sun. Can't imagine how my character feels lol

i like tans, but i wanna wear a qr code. the thing is that it has skin showing so yeah

so for now im stuck wearing a bear outfit because i dont want to hold an umbrella
i thought if i wore a bear cap it would stop letting me tan so i could keep playing but i've had a level 5 tan for about a week.
but anyway, you could wear a hat that covers your head. (i think that stops it from tanning, not making your tan go away tho) or time travel a bit. and spend lots of time in building yeah.

Whoa... I didn't know you could tan in NL. Is that new to this game?
I was quite dark at one point. I wore both a straw hat and held an umbrella. The next day when I turned my game on and my character left her house, she was much paler. I don't know if it was the hat or umbrella. I was outside most of the time because inside is boring.
