confusing villagers with other villagers

Ugh I have this problem with Cherry and Cheri. Never had either in my town so I'm not very familiar with them, but when I see their names mentioned here it takes me a moment to put a face to the name lol.

i don't have that problem seeing the names, but i get confused hearing the names since they're pronounved the same. whenever i watch an lp of acnl and someone talks about cherry, i always assume they're talking about cheri and when i see the dog named cherry i get a bit disappointed.

maybe someone should make a town full of pairs of animals with similar names (katt/kitt/kitty, cheri/cherry, tammy/tammi, nan/nana) just to mess with people

For me it's the opposite since I like Cherry more than Cheri. Also the town that would mess with people should be called 'Re-tail' so players will get confused when villagers mention the store whereas in actuality they are talking about the town, lol.

I don't really confuse villager for another one. But, I have confused Graham with some yellow flowers before. It was quite awkward when I was looking for him.

Rosie and lolly. Lolly looks really lazy but I sometimes called Rosie lolly.

I mixed up Gayle the Alligator with Maelle the duck... It might've been that they rhymed the way I pronounced their names. It's like... no honey two diff species, colors, everything!

Sometimes I confuse Alice and Melba. Both normal koala-colored koalas. I always call Melba "Mabel" lol
