Confused with pinging (need help)

I hope this is the right place to put this but if it's not please redirect me!
I've had 2 villagers say that Bianca is thinking about moving and I know that those rumors are always correct but she isn't pinging me??? (running up to and asking to move) I'm currently on the harvesting event with Franklin. I've tted to a different time of the day so many times it's insane. Do you think it's safe to tt to the next day?

i don’t think villagers can ping during events. if the moving dialogue only started today, then it should be safe to tt to the next day
