Comprehensive TTing Guide

I don't see one on the front page so.. here's my version! I?ve decided to make a guide for PRO TIME TRAVELLING for trading/ cycling/ and kicking out villagers! Compiled from my friends, several ACNL forums, and experience. So, here it is!

Precautions before TTing
? ?Beautiful Town" ordinance. Or your flowers will wilt.
? Do not time travel more than 4 days at a time. After a week without speaking to villagers, they get sad.
? TTing forward 1 day and backward 1 day= 2 days.
? Don?t go by dates, go by days. Example: if today is the 3rd and Ugly is moving on the 6th count it as 3 days.

TTing for moving prompt (Duet?s guide~)
? It?s SAFE to TT 4 days instantly IF: you just declined a villager from moving/ someone just moved out/ someone just moved in.
? TT 2 days at a time after. Talk to all villagers (esp. Snooty) for rumors of moving. If no rumors, can TT another 2 days.
? You know a villager is already boxes (for trade or kicking) when Isabelle prompts ?Ugly is moving today, isn?t that sad?"

I got Ugly to move but they reconsidered?!
? RESET! RESET! RESET!
? Avoid that villager like the plague until moving day.

Cherry picking who to move
? Make a new character and introduce yourself to every villager.
? Talk to everyone else (with that character) except Ugly every time you TT.

Cherry picking spot for villagers moving in
? Set time to 6:00AM on the day the villager is putting down their plot of land.
? Make a new character.
? Reset until you find the spot you like. If you like it, finish the introduction until you can save.

Just to clarify, you have to introduce yourself to the villager you want as well? And how many days at a time can you TT when doing this?

You want to introduce yourself to everyone in the village. For TTing, it can be the same as the guide. If you introduce yourself and then "ignore" the character, it goes into your "uneeded character" pool in game. This takes a weeks time frame.

Thank you SO much for this! I wish you had posted this earlier today, I was trying to get a villager to move out to trade with someone and didn't know how to do it. I ended up losing a villager (not the one I was trying to get rid of) lol.
