I've been thinking about completing my catalog for awhile now. But is it even worth it? I don't have a lot of things in my catalog because I didn't care about it much, but now, I want to. I still have to completely furnish/upgrade my 2nd character's house so I might get some use out of it. But getting all the items would be very expensive, And I don't exactly have a lot of money, IGB or BTB. I want your opinion, guys. Is it worth it, having a 100% catalog?

I'm a perfectionist and I am 4 items from a complete catalog. I probably won't do it for my 2nd town though because it was a hassle. I've spent millions of igb and hundreds of tbt to do this and a lot of time lurking on forums.

Well, you get a gold badge from Phineas, so if you're looking to get all of the gold badges, yes you should complete your catalog.

You get the gold badge at 80%. If you're that close to a complete catalog then it makes sense.
If you are that close, you might as well finish what you started. ;D

I did it for the badge and than for ordering items in my other towns.
In my 2nd/3rd/4th town one player bought the items and than dropped them at the event plaza. All the other players in that town cataloged them. To fill missing items the main town mayor and extra players ordered items and left them in my spare town for the other towns to catalog.
All 4 towns have a full catalog and it comes in handy when I want to remodel a whole house. No waiting 5 days for items for items to arrive using just one player. Bonus the spare town can get things redone in a short period of time by time traveling.
