Completing the Badges/Badge Progress

For those that have completed their badges, how long did it take you in a more-or-less answer?

For those who haven't, how far have you gotten?

I've been working on my badges after getting back from my heavy hiatus of the game, so I wanted to hear other peoples' progress as well

After starting to really work on them, I've gotten all but 3 at at least bronze still need to do more dreaming, and visiting other players towns, (and STREET PASSES UGH)
So far my gold ones are the gardening, the bug catalog, turnips, hha, and I'm JUST ONE NIBBLE FISH AWAY FROM THE FISH CATALOG ONE xD that fish, I swear.

Apparently I'm still missing a badge, plus I've got a lot of work ahead of me for the other badges (completing the catalog, fish and bug encyclopedias, HHA, etc) so I gotta figure out where to start from there

I have all the badges. It took me around 5-ish years of consecutive playing, so about a couple hours everyday. I was not ever able to visit anyone due to my firewall, so it took a lot longer than it could of. I think for non-internet badges it does not take long, probably less than two years of playing for a couple hours a day. I would think that SteetPass gold is impossible now if you do not have silver at least, it would definitely require a second 3DS.

They can be 1,000 StreetPasses from the same person, they do not have to be from different people.

I have been playing since October 2017 and I have most of the gold badges now, especially since I've been actively working to complete them the past few months. The only badges that I don't have gold yet are:

- Fishing (silver)
- Diving (silver)
- Bell Saver (silver)
- Streetpass (silver)
- Hosting (silver)
- Visiting (bronze)
- Dreaming (bronze)

For the streetpass, host and visitor badges, I have 2 DS's and my husband has one, so I use those to work on the badges.

Well according to my notes (yes I have a notebook just for keeping track of Animal Crossing stuff), I'm gold on almost all of my in-game activities, such as fishing and HHA and hours played. The only areas where I still really lack badges are things that require external interaction, namely visiting towns (or receiving visitors) and StreetPass (to be honest I still don't really even know how that works). I definitely need some outside help getting those, because I'm so clueless and so used to just playing alone that I'm not even at a bronze with those yet.

I'm also still only at a bronze with pulling weeds because I keep the Beautiful Town ordinance set all the time, so weeds are kind of rare for me. That one's going to take quite a while.

I use my second town a lot for badges lol this is one of them. I TT with the other town until Leif shows up, then I get my main player to go over there and pull all of them, i know a lot of people on here (in the train station) would be happy to help people who are working on the weeding badge by letting them come pull all the weeds up in their town every once in awhile

It took about 3 years to complete main town and guest town mayors badges.
Started in June 2013 and did a blind play through for most of the first year. 2nd year after getting some badges I decided to look up the amount needed and started working on my main town mayors badges. All got completed for both mayors in one year except for the street pass. Got the gold street pass badge for the main town mayor on June 11, 2016.

Guest town mayor got her gold street pass late 2016 to complete her collection. The 2 extra players in the main town are close to finishing their badge. 2nd/3rd player need host/travel gold. 3rd player also needs the gold street pass badge.

Guest extra players 2 to 4 have most of their gold badges. I just went for street pass bronze badges for those players.
The host/travel badges are take a lot of time to do 20 visits and I usually get bored.

Over the time I played NL, I tried to get as much badges as possible, but I never set it as a goal to get
them all. Badges like those Streetpass ones were already impossible for me to get, as getting Streetpass
here in my area is pretty difficult, since nobody seems to had their 3DS' with them or not playing NL,
even at times where the 3DS was very popular and still in it's active years.

I have only three gold badges. I have one for complete bug encyclopedia, one for 150,000 HHA points, and one for 500 hours playtime. There are six badges where I haven't even got bronze yet. I know one of them is for turnip trading but not sure about the others.

I have gold for all the encyclopedias, gardening, and turnips (don't ask). Right now, I'm just getting the bell, shopper, catalog, and the amount of bugs/fish/deep-sea creatures badge.

I still need a lot more and I've been playing my town since 2014 lol

I believe the only gold badges I have is the one where you fulfill many of your villager's requests, and the turnip one thanks to a really nice person I met here whose turnips were selling for like 700 bells

I'm stuck on bronze for travel and hosting, up to silver for island tour medals, nada for streetpass. Everything else I've made it to gold
