Common island names

i cannot even begin to recount the amount of islands named "pen island" i've visited during my time trading on reddit. anything containing the word "simp" is real popular on there, too. with that in mind i honestly find all the "typical", cutesy names sort of refreshing.

One of my old coworkers named her island "Islandy." Another friend named his "Desertn't" and I legit laughed out loud.

Mine is based on part of my last name--Whitland. I had Whittown in NL.

I've seen a bunch of Arcadia's, Hyrule's and names that reference Coronavirus when island-hopping!
I'm a Hyrule myself and I've seen a lot of Eventides. My first town in AC was Hyrule so now it's just tradition lol

I haven't seen anyone else with "Frubberg" yet, but I think I can understand why xD (it comes from Bounsweet's German name (Frubberl) but I changed the last letter, and "Berg" apparently meant hill or mountain so I thought it was cute!)

When I was wayy younger tho, with NL (my first-ever AC game), I think I must've felt proud of myself for naming my town "World" — until I realized it wasn't original at all when I found lots of others through the Dream Suite lmao
