Come talk about your pets! o:

I rescued two male rabbits this month and they have been my joy ... they were very friendly to eachother when I first got them but have to be seperated and rebonded since they got fixed. Other than that they are almost surreally adorable.
Orange one is Reed, gray one is Thistle.

Aaaaaaaaaaa, I love them! ;;;; Bunnies and rats are my pride and joys. I love the mixed breeds, they have so much personality and the best of colors! o: I have at the moment 7 rabbits and 5 little kits, only three of which are my permanent pets.

I have a mixed white Californian ruby-eyed who produces really pretty albinos and colored kits! Her name's Melly, short for Marshmallow.
A mixed black Rex named Ember, she has pretty black and grey kits! o: Her names Ember, short for Emberleigh
A white Angora mix named Shemp. He's my breeding buck, but I'm retiring him soon enough. He has a rare eye color! One of his eyes is blue and the other is brown!

I have two brown and white mixed Angora girls, both with blue eyes. I'm attempting to sell them. They're Piper and Poppy.
Two grey Angora mixed gals with I think blue eyes? Might be brown. I can't remember. They're Heather and Lavender
And five white, some with ruby-eyes and some with brown eyes. c: I was originally going to name them after the seven dwarves, but unfortunately two of them didn't make it. /:

I also have two rats with 9 babies, a Cockatiel, four parakeets and a hound mixed dog. Juney and Spooks are the rats, Maddie is the cockatiel, the parakeets are Blue, Sunny, Dewy and Sirius and Parker is the doge! c:

ALSO, I went out and got my rat cage!!!! I'm so very happy with it! It's a beautiful thing and I can't wait to populate with my children and get all the accessories sorted! I have to buy some more toys and make some stuff, but I'm so excited!!

The cage is absolutely huge I feel like I could keep a small army of rats!! I spent $240 on it. ;;; It's a lot, but I feel like it's really worth it, this cage will last me simply forever and it'll make my children happy.

You inspired me to show my setup too
IMG_20180714_005625036_LL.jpg
This is what it looked like before they were seperated. I put a two story hutch in my closet, lined it with pillowcases, and threw towels and these absorbent fleece pockets to fill the rest of it. I also covered their litterbox using the NIC grids and fleece, but it ended up being used as a jumping platform so I eventually took the grids out and let them free roam. More fleece pockets under my futon and around the room (and a dog bed the dog never wanted lol). If it wasn't clear the hutch only closed if I had to clean.
IMG_20180727_124507671_LL.jpg
Tody's setup...right before cleaning the floor : p. The outside bun and inside bun transition each night, and I keep feeding and the litterbox close to eachother. I think we're making progress.

Oh wow! I use cardboard, newspaper and pine shavings for my cages. I find that trying to keep all these rabbits with washable materials is just a nightmare when it comes to cleaning their cages. They're more natural, I suppose??? xD

Two are in a rabbit hutch, I have three dwarf rabbit cages and a dog kennel that houses two of them. I have a dog pen I pull out and put out in the middle of my floor for them to roam around in at different times during the day.

omg i LOVE rats...... when i was little i had the sweetest rat named dumbo (because he was a dumbo rat, very creative) and he would totally just chill in my lap whenever! all the kids in the neighborhood thought he was nasty cuz they didn't like his tail lol. he died a long time ago, i think around when i was like 8-9??? unfortunately we didn't take a lot of photos of him so the only one i have on hand is this
dumbo2.jpg

the current family pet is our dog zuley!!! mom named her, its short for azul cuz she has blue eyes and i think it's kinda dumb but i LOVE HER i take so many photos of her she's smelly and loves peanuts, i think she's like 8 or 9 at this point?

Awww, your rat is so cute! I love him. ;;; I wish I could get mine to settle down for pictures and cuddles, but as soon as I take one out they're gone. NYOOM, I'M GONE MAMA. They looove to play and cuddle and run around, but settle down? Nah.

Your dog is a funny one, hehe! She's adorable, reminds me a lot of our smaller dogs! That last picture killed me, ahaha. What kind of dog is she??

Also, have you thought about getting rats again? o:

Yeah the first week where I was just relying on towels was a nightmare, but I've hardly had to clean the fleece or the floor since (though now they like marking my bedsheets...).

Everyone give Koga love too! Had him since elementary school

i have a cat and he's beautiful and kind of stupid. he loves to eat frogs and flies, fight with people's hands and feet and sleep with his butt in someone's face.

this is from christmas, he opened the door to the living room because he wanted to get to the christmas tree and take down decorations to play with. he wasn't allowed in the living room because he kept ruining things but he was determined to get back in .....

OMG ur rats sound so good ;__; everyone says their rats are super energetic i was surprised mine was so chill!

AND THANK U...... i love taking dumb looking photos of her :lemon: she is a shih tzu! her hair's never grown out super long like the ones i see in photos though which i always thought was kinda weird?

i would LOVE to get rats again but definitely not until i move out (whenever that may be), zuley is wonderful and enough for me rn :P i won't be able to take her with me when i leave tho so i think once i leave and can get a hang on everything i'd look into getting a rat again!

I just now noticed this! I'm so sorry. ;;;

I find it's just easier to use recycled things over washable things. I don't actually have a washing machine and hand washing ALL that fleece would just take forever, not to mention air-drying time. /: I get cardboard that's been broken down and is just gonna get recycled from my local food pantry and pine shavings pretty cheap at my walmart. It keeps the smell down A LOT and they love to nibble on the stuff too, aha.

That's a problem with all male rabbits though. I had a male that LOVED to just suddenly mark me while I'm walking by his cage. It got so bad that I actually had to put him into a plastic box with plenty of air holes just to keep from spraying ALL over me and my room, the bed, the walls. It was terrible. I have no idea why he suddenly did this either, just one day he went from being a good rabbit to a very mean, nasty, aggressive marker.

My current breeding buck doesn't spray thank goodness, I wouldn't know what to do with him!

aaaaaaaaaa, Koga is a pretty doge! I love long-haired dogs, they're so nice. c: What kind of dog is he?

Aaaaaaa, he is a precious little baby! He is so very pretty! And that character on him, pfffft. I'm sure he's fun to have around the house.

I can confirm, Spooky is the most energetic. He's loving this new cage! He's been running through newspaper and taking bits of it from the tippy top to the very bottom, it's quite amusing to watch him just run through the cage with this huge paper in his mouth. c: Rats are precious and I cannot be any happier to have them in my life. I was truly missing out. c':

Huh. Maybe it's just a quirk. I know it happens in rabbits as I've had some with unruly long fur and some without. One of her ancestors must have been a short-haired Shih Tzu. c:

I don't know the meaning of "you have enough animals" pfffffft. My life is animals.

Oh my goodness! She is such a gorgeous cat! I love her colors so much. ;;;; Cats are pretty creative when it comes to hiding and the like, aren't they? c':

Here's a picture of the babies at 10 days old! They're starting to get their fur patterns. c: I have one solid tan, one solid grey, a solid black (with a white belly though), two black and whites with the same pattern as their parents, one black and white, though it only has black on it's head, and one piebald grey and one piebald tan. I've decided to keep the piebald grey and tan, as the tan one is male (I've named him Graham. c': He's gonna be my little graham cracker) but I haven't decided what to name the little grey gal. I'm leaning towards Sweetie or Cookie.

I also may be keeping the solid tan and grey babies as well, I'm not really sure. It depends if one is male and one is female. I'd love to keep them in sets of 3, but I dunno. I don't really wanna keep anymore black and white rats, pffft. I may keep the mostly white rat with the black on it's head if one doesn't pan out the right sex, but I'm not sure. They're all really sweet!

I have two moggy cats, a lop mix rabbit and a corn snake. The cats are 3 years old, the rabbit is 4, and the snake is about a year and a half.

One of my cats is very cuddly but still independent, and likes to talk a lot because he's part Bengal. The other cat is a little black and white one from an accidental litter, and he's stupid. I adore him. They're called Feefee and Dumpy, I spend pretty much all my time at home cuddling them even when I'm doing other stuff.

The rabbit is called Clementine. Rabbits are supposed to have another bunny companion, but Clem hates all other rabbits- all the attempts we've made to introduce and bond him to others has been pretty disastrous. But he likes the cats and loves us, so he has a lot of company anyway.

The snake is called Snangela. She came to us after she was given to our friend's reptile rescue charity when she was found living in a department store lift after going missing for two months. She was underfed and undergrown when we got her, but she's growing fast and I'm proud of her.

Got two kitties. Roscoe (the rascal) and Ichabod (the idiot lol). I love them both dearly. Roscoe is two and Ichabod is one. Roscoe is a tabby with a high pitched meow and Ichabod is all black with a scratchy meow. They are both very vocal and wonderful

I used to have a rabbit named Skye but she passed away in April, I also have a loan horse who aside from animal crossing is my life! Her name is Murren IMG_4986.jpg IMG_5307.jpg

Well, she can be a right little madam at times but when you need her love, she will most certainly give it to you. She comes with her bed, toys, required foo--...

I'm kidding, she's not that bad!

I’ve mentioned before that my town is named after my cat, Pickles. Well, here she is ^o^

She’s such a sweet cat and she loves to snuggle QuQ

I've spent my day rearranging rabbits into different cages due to five siblings being in too small of a cage. c': Now I don't have a kennel to put a dog but oh well, we've got a fix to that.

The rats are doing very well! Turns out I have three females and six males. The good news is that the four I wanted to keep were two girls and two boys so yay! I've kept the two solids, one tan and one grey and the two piebalds, also grey and tan. I still only have one name though, the piebald tan is Graham. c: They're so cute!!
