If you have 9 or lower villagers (not a full town) I suggest you to ask people make sure that they don't have any recent voids or they have cleared up their void before coming to your town. Last week I held a price of 587 for about a week and let people come sell their turnips. I moved on to next day and now Boone is moving in... I was at 9 villagers so couldn't have been random. It's from someone's void.... If you don't want to get unwanted villagers in your town, yeah... Just a heads up.
