End of List

While I never played the GameCube version, I do however miss quite a few of these features which were in the Wild World DS edition and City Folk Wii edition, such as constellations and the individual lines for bugs and insects. However with the amount of new features in this game, I am willing to accept these omissions.

Does anyone else have any favorite feature from previous games that sadly didn't make it into New Leaf?

i'm glad we can't change the way the villagers speak.
i love animalese, it's adorable and gives the villagers a little something more than just their personality and appearance.
it's a shame a lot of the old features are no longer present in new leaf, but new leaf is wonderful the way it is!

27)Grid system

what do you mean by grid system? the town is still divided into 'acres' and such.

i actually like bebese MUCH better. idk why, animalese gets annoying after a while.

I am not sure, I didn't create this list I just found it. I just know of the features that were in Wild World and City Folk :)

idk, "bebese" is used in many other games and that's what i find annoying haha

theres nothing more embarassing than getting stared at when gibberish blasts out of your 3ds
bebese is just a lil more easier on me. animalese is still cute but hearing it for like 10 hours straight is just. blegh

it's just the "beeping" that you hear, like when text rolls across the screen
you hear that all the time in numerous games, sometimes it sounds different but it's generally the same stuff
it's like morse code LOL

wait is it bebese or bebebese

It is bebebese that was used in Animal Crossing.

The "grid system" was featured in Animal Crossing for the Gamecube, where each acre is camera-locked into a square; when you move acres, the camera shifts to the new acre. It's a little hard to explain unless you see it in action. :p

I could be mistaken, but didn't the GC version also have cliffs? I don't just mean cliffs overlooking the beach either.

No big cliffs overlooking the beach, but there are some cliffs where the town is divided into "levels." Sometimes the town will have two "levels" and sometimes the town will have three. There are also "islands" where the river spits off and reconnects. I really liked it, actually.

I miss the constellations alot! they should have brought them into new leaf!!!
Gives us a reason to look at the sky more

Most of these are insignificant to me.

I can't believe people (not referring to the TC here, just to be clear) still complain about the removal of the NES games... I mean, like we have the VC now. It would be cool to have Nintendo consoles as furniture items, but the NES games are gone forever and for a clear and defined reason.

i miss the letter in bottles, constellations, and how blathers would actually talk to you. :(

I agree on the constellations and NES games. They were fun.

You also forgot the journals or books you can write stories in. I wish Nintendo brought that back in the next game.

What else I missed - the slot machine furniture piece. I know kids shouldn't be exposed to gambling references in games, but I seen worse. Censorship of gambling references is bad unless if it suggests that kids should gamble. Kids shouldn't gamble at all.
