What are some ideas you have or would like to see in the future regarding collectibles. Sure we all have interesting collectible ideas on what you would like to see as collectibles. However, this thread is rather different. These are more like re-ordering collectibles, adding your own messages, or whatever.
For me, here are some ideas I would like:
An add-on that allows us to have 6x2 and 5x3 sidebars while several are happy with 5x2 sidebars.
Collectible folders, where if you put all collectibles in one folder, selecting the folder will select all collectibles, so you can activate/deactivate all or hide/unhide all.
I do really like the saved layout folder idea. It would be really cool to be able to switch much easier and also remember what old lineups you've created! I know alot of us like screenshotting and sharing them in the 'explain your lineup' thread which I do enjoy but having a visual without having to search past posts would he excellent.
I'm not huge on collectibles like a lot of the other members on here are. So it took me forever to get a decent amount. I'm sure everyone's collectible inventory scrolls on forever. I think the collectible inventory would benefit with some organization like you mentioned. Maybe where member's can make folders and put certain ones in there by year, theme, ect.
I really love your idea about the folders. It would be a lot handier to just equip them by clicking on assorted folders than having to individually do them, especially for people with lots in their inventory where it takes then ages to find what they need.
I'd probably use it a lot. I really like my lineup at the moment, but I already have an idea for a spring themed one I want to use, so it would be super helpful to have a folder.

I think a folder to put collectibles in for selling would be nice too. Then people could just share and click the selling folder link.

Though I don't foresee this ever being a thing, but, the option to have the collectibles' background removed upon purchasing and activating a "collectible card" that the collectibles lay on top of. I think that can be interesting.
Maybe have a limit of 2 collectible cards in your inventory at a time. When the collectible cards are deactivated, the individual collectibles could go back to their default backgrounds. That is probably too complex because of the collectibles needing two layers, or a pointer to a an image with no background. But still a fun thought and another fun way to have collectibles displayed. The collectible cards could be a plain color, or have some fun art. Maybe holiday/season related. Maybe they could be something that shows off how long you have been on the forums.
