I bought it in my first town and is was ok I guess o.e

There is a way you can get blackmailed where you will be trapped on the seat while trying to wait for a mini game. The guy asked for 99 000 bells. I found it somewhere in TBT but it was old..

I rarely go to the island since I can't be helped but stay up until 5 am in the morning browsing TBT Forums just because of a Marshmallow squirrel.

Ive completely stopped going to the island. Mainly because im too lazy to catch bugs and I cant be bothered
getting medals. I only ever go if people are visiting my town, its fun when its with friends.

I'm 10-15 years older than the majority of players on the island. Can't say I'm too thrilled when I go.

I use it to collect furniture pieces more quickly without having to TT, or to look for better tours if I get ones I don't like.

My only bad experience was this girl who didn't want me to leave, so she started a tour and left me trapped. I wouldn't have left anyway, since there was something there I wanted, but she wasted my time while she AFK'd and that left me kind of peeved. Other than that, though, no problems so far.

I went a total of 3 times. First time, no one was there... so I fished for 10-15 minutes before I left. The second time, I met someone from Japan! We played a few games.

and the last time. Someone from the States was already there. When I came outside to say hi, they took out an axe and said "Die,"... SO naturally I just went out of the island. '-'

Edit - I don't think I would be a regular club user, it's weird there and yes. People tend to hold people hostage (reading stories online xD)

I bought it because I'm an idiot and was under the assumption that I needed it in order to go to the island with a friend. Why do I never read the full descriptions of things...
I've never used it and I seriously regret buying it because all it does is allow Kapp'n to hold me hostage on the dock even longer with EVEN MORE irritating dialogue -.-

Yeah I just kind of island hop to look for rare furniture really. Getting medals is really hit or miss; I know I can hit gold consistently when I'm alone, but on the island, sometimes people screw you up. On the other hand, sometimes people are also good and then you get additional medals for doing the best out of everyone.

Why would you go to Club Tortimer for anything but playing the games? how pointless... lol
I've only used it twice. Once with someone who didn't speak English (I think she was Japanese), so we didn't understand each other. But it wasn't a bad experience. We made faces at each other for a while before she left. XD

The second time was with someone who didn't want to play games, so I left. I can catch bugs on my own island alone. I don't need to go to Club Tortimer for that. Just my opinion though. I'd rather chat and play games.
