Club Tortimer is a weird place

I haven't really had any negative experiences. Usually people just say "hi" to me and I don't respond. I don't go to the island to make friends, which is probably a little cold of me.

One dumb guy kept following me around, saying he needs bells. I ignored him and continued to fish. He kept bothering me and I told him, "Grab a net and a fishing rod. You can earn a ton of bells here." But he didn't. I guess he thought I would just give my bells away to a random stranger who is annoying me? Yeah, right!
Then he had the nerve to say, "I need 1 million bells. Or a crown. Do you want your crown?" (Obviously I was wearing a crown at that time.) I said, "Of course I want it. I bought it and I'm wearing it. Go earn your own bells like I did." He said, "Oh," and finally left the Island, thank goodness. The nerve of lazy people!

When I go to international waters, I only island hop to search for island exclusive items. In a random island, someone said they had the same outfit (I always wear the astronaut outfit) then suddenly asked to become my friend. I got uncomfortable with this and clearly said how it made me feel and declined. They kept on with it and I decided to leave when they opened their pockets which wouldn't let me leave! I have no idea what, probably bells but he was rude and making me more uncomfortable, so I had to flick the switch.
Another milder experience was someone asking me to buy the bush starts, to which I said no. They kept on but I left without without saying anything else.

i don't go on Club Tortimer as often as i used to, heres the long story why:
i went on CT (Club Tortimer) a few weeks back in search of the sea globe or something rare (IN MY OWN COUNTRY OPTION), (i didn't find nothing), so i thought well might as well catch some fish or bugs but when i walked out these 2 people one boy one girl both from England said give us bells and the bells you give will transfer into money for children in need. i kept on saying no and that i know it was just for bells and that children in need is in another 2 years, until someone arrived. a girl from Wales (like me! ;3) she helped me get rid of these people and we became friends and she asked how old i was i said i was 12 which i am.. don't judge k, and she said i was very mature for my age.
i was very flattered! beware of scammers like that tho.

Yeah, people will be weird. I've had a large number of people just throw bells at me (between 1k-10k bells)

I've never met anyone 'weird' or 'scary.' But when I have giving out 100k bells I had a girl say "no. I don't need your peasant money." and flipped the switch.

UGH, what ticks me off is when people call others a peasant. Personal experience. It all happened because of money. People should stop begging and bragging about money

I can't wait till Winter Break is over. Players are fighting or trolling.
First visit I gave some bells to two players. Just made a lot trading turnips.
Came back later and the one of those players arrived on the island in a Santa Suit. He dropped bells off camera and said for you.
I said I had lots. He than said I'm just kidding I don't have any bells. Started to beg for bells. Took off on a tour.
Player 2 went island hopping and he was back trying to scam others out of bells. Told everyone that's not true.
The mayor just gave him a lot of bells. My user name is on all my player TPC. Scammer needs to check before begging.
I noticed that the wifi is going out a lot. Either it's the connections or someone is just hitting the switch to be mean.
I've bought an item from the shop. Just when I go to leave the wifi goes out.
