I have 600 points and I have no Idea what to use it on. Anyone have any tips? I'm not planning on buying games with points as I can just buy them with real money.
 
i'd save them up until you can buy something bigger, because you can't get a lot for 600 points. i usually don't register games/points until i've collected a bunch, that way you won't have to deal with your points expiring for a long time.
 
Your points don't roll over. You have until the 30th of this month to spend them or they're as good as gone!

and as Tom said, if you reach gold/platinum status you simply receive a gift of your choosing (from a list of things I guess they'll put out at the beginning of next month) and it doesn't cost coins.

Much cursing. This is the first year I've bothered signing up. So my points that have already been registered expire on June 30th?
 
Well.. unless I can, somehow, get 70 coins before the 30th, I won't even make gold this year(not that gold was worth it last year).

edit: Anyone feel like lending me a hand to reach gold rank? 70 coins is, roughly, two or three codes total if anyone is feeling generous.

no, they expire every two years, not one. as stated here, "Coins that were earned over two years ago will expire on 7/1 of every year. Once Coins have expired, they can no longer be used."
 
Gold is 500 coins, platinum is 700. You only get to pick one club nintendo prize at the end of the club nintendo year though. Platinum has the better rewards.

And another 270 points would put me at platinum, but I'm not expecting to pull that off at this point(as that'd mean a wii-u code at the very least)

It's 600 coins to reach Platinum, Dr. J. So you're even closer to Platinum :). Gold is at 300 coins.

I got Plat this year, hopefully the rewards will be better than the best couple years!!
