Yeah, I went back to the date he asked me, and then waited 2 weeks IRL. Nothing happened and he didn't open. It was unlocked, but for some reason stuck in the middle. Someone just told me how to fix it without losing my dreamies. Turns out extreme time travel pushes it out of the middle phase. I read somewhere that you had to time travel to 2050 and wait for the day to roll over naturally(from 5:58AM to 6AM) to fix it. But I didn't want to do that because I was afraid of losing one of my dreamies. Luckily, I found somewhere that if you TT the day you deny someone from moving, then all your villagers will still be there no matter how far forward you go. Which to me makes a lot of sense now, since I've stayed away from my game for months before and everytime I came back, they were always there still.
