Hello! I would like to make a clover path in my town, and I was hoping to get some tips on four leaf clover growth!

I don't have beautiful town ordinance on, which I think is the correct first step (correct me if wrong!) so a few clovers have been popping up over the past week. I haven't picked any of them.

Does the in-game luck system impact whether the clovers that spawn are four-leaf? By total coincidence (and luck!), I've gotten the lucky black cat and the lucky gold cat, and I've put them in my house in hopes they'll help.

Should I leave the clovers and wait until there's lots to pick them and see how many are four leaf, or should I be picking them every day as they pop up to find out & start hoarding right away?

Thanks so much! :)

i think the chance of a clover being lucky is something like 1:25 ;;; not sure how accurate that ratio of lucky:unlucky that is, but it seems to be pretty correct. and i don't think in-game luck matters to clover spawning...

what i do to get more clovers: i have a side town that is for cycling (wouldn't recommend doing this in your main town), and so i tt a year forward and back- this makes roughly 60 weeds (the little shoot ones, not clovers) appear, along with an unspecified amount of clovers (clovers, even if they're unlucky, don't count as weeds, so whenever i ask leif how many weeds i have in town, he always just counts the number of sprout-weeds. clovers don't get counted so i never know how many have spawned, but it's a lot). i pick up all the clovers (feels like maybe 60 of them), and usually get around 0-4 lucky ones.

tldr: it's kind of pretty hard to get enough lucky clovers to path a town or a part of town, even if you do what i do (which is to essentially trash my town to get, like, 2 clovers... that's why i use my cycling one haha), so for my main town, i usually just buy clovers from people here on the forum (how THEY get their clovers, i don't know ;; maybe by hacking or just by doing a TON of weeding).

hope your clover path works out nicely!

This was lots of help, thank you so much!! :)

You could also just leave the non-4 leaf clovers that spawn in the middle of your path! It'd save some time (and/or money if you decide to buy)
