Hello :). Right now I'm thinking of replacing a beige ranch table with a Sloppy Table. I couldn't find a table (other than pushing too modern wood tables together, which you can't obviously do where it looks like they're just one table <.<); I wanted a table that resembled the one you can see in this screenshot: http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/...uisition2014-11-2822-17-56-80_zpsd007dad2.jpg because I'm trying to make a room that somewhat resembles this room. Here's part of the room (I've added more things since this screenshot was taken and I took out some of the furniture):
room on the right progress 2.jpg (If you're wondering why the bird bath is in there, I added it there to represent processed lyrium that mages uses to enter the fade; it looks like this ~ clicky).

The beige ranch table does not go with anything at all in the room (the ranch bookshelves in another room looks terrible with everything else but they are the only bookshelves that resemble the ones in Dragon Age: Inquisition in the room I based it on); I don't think the Sloppy Table's wood color will match either but at least it will look better than the ranch table (in my opinion). So, the next thing I'm concerned about it the table cloth on the table. If I hadn't used up all of my custom designs space, I'd use one of them to make a plain colored one (that's not pink), something that won't stand out too much. Does anyone have any recommendations for pieces of clothing that would look best on the Sloppy Table?

Anyone else that want to talk about what the thread is going to be about, feel free to talk about that too here. :]

Maybe the Beaded Shirt, Gray Tank, or the Armor Suit? Or an ombre type shirt, like the Dawn and Deep Blue? Or one of the Tie Dye
ones.

I personally like using the Dreamy Tee for my clothing fabric cuztomizations.

Thanks for the suggestions :). I bought a couple of those to try; this is my first time using clothing to customize a furniture, so, it should be fun. :] I like that shirt's pattern too :]. If this room wasn't a "guy's room" and if I wasn't following a theme or basing my rooms on something in particular, I'd want to try the night sky tee too; that was one of my first favorite shirts.

I was also thinking of trying to find a shirt that might resemble the character's outfit, whose room I'm using the table in; a light tan. I'm not sure if he is a slob or not, but regardless, I thought it'd look appropriate to use something of the same color at least as part of his outfit. :]

Then again, the outfits were customizable in the game and changed; that is just his default outfit in the cutscenes at Skyhold and in the beginning of the game. So maybe I can be a little more creative.

Does anyone else have suggestions? I was really hoping to find something that was just a solid color--I prefer white or tan.

i think the twinkle tee, amethyst tee, bubble gum tee, chi chi print, chocomint tee, cloudy tee would look good.
the kanji tee and cherry tee look good on the sloppy couch!

you could use the snow shirt too. or subdued print tee. but you know you can get the ranch table made into white right?

Yeah. I wanted it to be brown as shown in the picture I linked since I'm basing the room off of one in a game. Since there is a table cloth on the sloppy table, I thought it'd be best to make it something that wouldn't stand out a lot. I didn't want to delete one of my custom designs to make room for a solid color (with no patterns) to turn it into. I am using the sloppy table because it comes closer to "matching" the furniture I have in the room (see screenshot in my first post) thank the ranch table in any of its colors.

I ended up removing the custom design of mine and just filling it with a color that I tried to make as close as possible to parchment since his desk is covered with paper; it turned out okay and it blends in well with the table. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I want to try doing more customization to furniture using clothing, so, this helps a lot. :]
