i wasn't planning on voiding him for a few more hours, so posting in brewster's a few times will get you to 100 tbt easily c:

here's a really helpful guide I used when I first learned how to do it. 
you can change the time when you first start up a character -- also, your save file isn't loaded until Isabelle says "let me get you set up". if you were to adopt wolfgang from me now, you'd need to TT to 5:58 am tomorrow, save & quit immediately, and from then start on a new save file. since Isabelle doesn't load up your town when you begin a new save, the plot isn't locked down yet. quit without saving and keep starting a new save until he plots somewhere you like.
