I can hold Lolly/puddles for you, but I'm not so sure about how holding villagers works. Does it not take long for the villager to ping to move out again?

of course! elvis will most likely be in boxes long before sly, but i will of course hold him for you. :>
thank you so much, but i actually found someone to hold them for me already. i'll explain it for you though--basically, you invite them to move into your town they way you would with your own villagers, you just have to keep in mind they're not yours. i've never held a villager for anyone, but i assume you don't give them fish/bugs/furniture when they ask, you only talk to them consistently just so they'll be able to ping you when they are ready to move, etc. it can take any amount of time for them to move back out, it just depends on how good you are at tt'ing villagers out or how long the person you're holding them for needs or is willing to wait. in my case, the person holding lolly & puddles for me is a cycler, so she knows how to move through villagers pretty quickly. it's all basically down to luck in the end, though. all the villagers that don't say 'reserved' are still up for grabs. tbt is the currency used on these forums (under your avatar, just underneath your Posts, there's one that says Bells. that's tbt) and you can earn it by posting on threads. the length of your post determines how much tbt you'll earn. you can also earn tbt by selling ACNL items or villagers like you see here c:

i'm sorry, it's first come first serve at this point and someone else was already queued up to get him if no one made an offer. & as for rosie i'm looking for 150 tbt for her as i'm really trying to save up, but if no one is interested in her, she's all yours.
