I ended instead of you having to walk all the way back to the train. It should have saved just fine. Did you end up back in your town?

I don't have a deer town by choice, they just love my campsite and randomly moving in

I'm not a huge fan of the deer villagers, but I'm sure a lot of people are probably jealous that they pop up in your town so often, haha.

As long as you ended up back in your town before you turned off your game, I think it should be fine. It says he has already moved out in my game, and I have not changed dates yet, so he should be on his way to your town. Do you time travel? If so, you can go forward a couple of days and see if he has laid a plot down.
