Clear water initiative vs beautiful town ordinance

One of my initiative is to clean up a river or sea with a piece of trash to fish out. Does any trash show up if the beautiful town ordinance is active? Do I need to change ordinance in order for the trash to even show up. I have been fishing with no results so far.
Any answers folks?

I've got that initiative and the beautiful town ordinance up as well. I don't think any trash appears in the bodies of water with the ordinance active.

Yeah, I noticed that too. When the update first came out, I tried for like an hour and a half trying to get that initiative with no luck. Then I realized it's because of the ordinance.

always get this initiative with beautiful ordinance on as well.

i'm not sure it's overly worth the trouble though because it takes a full day for ordinance changes to take effect and if its a daily initiative that makes it undoable and if its not and you switch, then you end up spending both time to catch the trash and time to water every single flower in existence in your town (rip me, hybrid sensationalist) lol.

This is one of the initiatives I hate getting. Because I don't wanna switch/cancel my ordinance just because of that initiative.

I noticed that initiative appearing a lot before they did another update. Lately in 3 of my towns none of the players have got that task.

No way will I shut off beautiful for 1 coupon.

I think that initiative is worth 3 coupons, but I agree, even that isn't worth it

Yeah, I don't think it's worth even for 3 coupons. I ignore it instantly the moment I see it haha I'm not gonna change my beautiful ordinance for a single initiative xD

Yeah, it's much better to just play Puzzle League 3 times than deal with the hassle of changing ordinances.
