I want to change Clay's clothes. Any suggestions on a new outfit for him? Here's a pic of him.

What I try to do is have only the item that you want a villager to change in to in your inventory and talk to them until they ask to buy it or trade for it or something. Of course sometimes they don't always wear it, or you could mail it to them.

Clay is AWESOME!!! He looks like the Dogu Statue. Not sure about the comfy sweater though. I need some more suggestions.

I thought was a mask at first too, but then I realized it's a fur pattern! He looks like the Dogu Statue, just look at the resemblance, ESPECIALLY in the eyes:



I happen to like the more unique villagers like this!

Rory just made me delive a gift to clay containing a scale armor suit. It looks so weird on him....I love that outfit though, I consider it in the top 5 in the whole game, but it looks so weird on Clay. I'll have him keep it on for a while and see if I want him to remain in it.

Something yellow... oooh maybe the monkey shirt? It's gold and white and I think the patterns would suit him well. I can't wait to get him... he's going straight into the Autumn section where I shall feed him cake and perfect fruit until he's too stuffed to think of moving.
