Civilization 6: Gathering Storm

Is anyone else excited for this expansion? I personally haven't played too much Civ 6, but these new features make me want to try it out again. I especially like how they finally included canals after so many years. I think this expansion has the potential to make Civ 6 even better than 5, which has been my go-to Civ game ever since BNW.

Hopefully some people care about this. I know this is an AC forum, but I'm sure there are a few Civ fans in here.

theyre just nice

think of why canals are so powerful irl back then. same reason. connects two bodies of water, dont have to go around

that and people just find them pretty

I have played a bit of Civ 6 when it first came out and found it to be very difficult to get used to. Just the interface and the new style... give me my Civ 5 interface, haha! xD

That said, I'll pick it up again when they will release the add-ons on Switch. The company that ported Civ 6 on Switch made some obvious hints that they are working on the DLC, so I assume Gold Edition will be out by the end of this year. Playing Civilization on Switch is just a dream. :3
