I finished this amazing game a few days ago and it's definitely one of the best games I've ever played.

So for those of you who don't know, Child of Light is a side scrolling platformer/RPG game developed by Ubisoft Montr?al. The story is about a girl named Aurora, the child of a duke of Austria. One night, she falls asleep in her bed, but wakes up in a mysterious world called Lemuria. At first, Aurora think she's dreaming but soon realizes that is not the case. Now she has to find a way home to her father. On her journey, she will meet many characters who will join her party to fight against evil foes of Lemuria in turn based battles. Meanwhile in Austria, the duke, her father, is dying and her evil stepmother has some dark plans...

The game has been released for Wii U, PC, PS3/4 and Xbox 360/One. I think the price is about 15 dollars and you get around 10 hours of amazing gameplay, stunning visuals and a fantastic soundtrack.

Here's a trailer of the game.

Have you played this game? What did you think of it?

I like the gameplay and visuals, though wish they were not so strict on the meter, or at least mixed it up. Ironically, I believe the poetic form they used took away more than it added to immersion into the setting or environment of the game.

wOW WHAT THE HELL IT LOOKS SO COOL

i havent played it but i want to holy ****

its so, appealing

im so appealed.

count me in

I started the game thinking it was indie lol I LOVE the game, the characters develop well, the side quests, the graphics, the battle system is really fun and the story is very touching. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Played it on the WiiU, awesome game, and it's very forgiving so you don't have to ruin the story by replaying pointless battles over and over, but a challenge enough to keep me interested. I LOVED all the characters and felt connected immediately. Great story and premise. I'm playing Valiant Hearts on my PS3 now, which was also done from Ubisoft's, Ubiart studio. It's also got the same great art and story you'd expect after playing Child of Light

Wait it's for the 360 too?!

Oh goodness I thought I was safe because it was only on the WiiU and I don't have one yet but,...
guess Ihave no excuse not to play it now.

Yes, and apparently also for PS Vita, forgot to mention that in my previous post.
