Chat with me while I plot reset!

Good luck! The longest I've ever had to plot reset someone for was 3 days. By the time it was over I didn't even wanna see Carmen honestly, haha. Granted I was trying to get her into one specific spot. I think the longest besides that is 12-24 hours for a couple villagers.

I recently got Lolly and she only took like... 9 resets to get into a specific spot. I was so happy.

The longest plot re-setting I have ever managed took just over 13 hours. I started at 6am and reset until 2pm but had to stop to do necessary real life tasks of daily living. I restarted at 5pm until a little after 10pm. I was ready to give up by that time. What helped was watching some of my fav programmes on TV and chatting to my partner on Wii U. I try and get new villagers to arrive on weekends when I do not have work.

The shortest I have had was one reset.

One of the most interesting things that happened to me when resetting one was giving up when I received guests. When I went to turn on my game, I accidently loaded my mayor and only realised afterwards. I frantically run around my town but found Katt’s plot had landed in the spot I wanted her although she was one space too far from Marcie’s house where I had originally wanted her. I would have still left her there if she had landed in the same spot while resetting! That was lucky.

I feel like that's how I'm gonna feel when I finally get Bam to plot. I was plot resetting until about 1:30 am my time last night and after that I just shut my game off and was like, "screw it, i'm just gonna continue this tomorrow."

Oh wow, you got really lucky. haha. I feel like if that happened to me, Bam would have his way and would plot in my campsite area. -.-
I had accidentally picked up a villager from my cycling town and the little bugger plotted in my campsite. -.-
thankfully I managed to get her out after lots of tt'ing but i was so mad.

Hey there! Welcome to the forums!

I've had ACNL since I believe December 28th, 2013. Then I restarted my town two months later after getting the game and I've had that town for over than a year. :3

Hngghh I'm plot resetting too at the moment... I don't like it but what makes it even worse is that I'm resetting for a random villager. A lazy one to be exact. I'd really love to get Stitches and that's the only reason I'm bothering. : D Meanwhile Zucker has shown up in the campsite several times and I'm kinda tempted to ask him to move in. He's so cute! I've never met him before though and Stitches is my ultimate dream villager so I haven't asked Zucker yet. I don't know what to do when he shows up next time! Anyway hehe, good luck with Bam. :)
 
My worst plot resetting (and only) was Merry. She was almost blocking my bridge AND she had ruined my flowers. The next 13 times she chosed the EXCACTLY same spot, then two new (horrible) spots and then a perfect! And now she is gone ._.

Actually, in fact, when I'm plot resetting I just name the character "G" (or some random letter) because it's not like I'm keeping the character anyway. :p

baha. yeah, i've named some of the chars something completely random, and other times I named them Petch after the derpy version of peach. XD

Bam will literally not stop planting his house in my campsite area. at this point i'm tempted to let him win because 9/10 times he never leaves it anyways. -.-

Well, good luck getting stitches and Zucker! I'm probably gonna let Bam win here soon. He won't stop plotting in my campsite area.

haha thanks. I've told myself that if bam isn't in the middle of something by the time i go through all the faces, I'm just gonna let him stay there.
