It can be, especially depending on how specific of a spot you want a villager in.

Not the same person, but ugh yes in most cases it is (at least for me). It took me 3 hours to get my final villager's house in the proper place!

If you're trying to get a villager into a very specific spot, yes. If you have a few places they can go, its not so bad.

Yarharhar good luck!! I plot resetted for a couple hours before I gave up, that's the longest I've ever done it... it's like idk if they're in a good enough spot then I'll make it work!!

i was plot resetting for marshal a few days ago, and it must have taken 70 times. for some reason villagers ALWAYS put their houses in front of mine, almost ever time. i think i might put a fountain temporarily in front of my house to stop plots from building there to speed up everything! good luck, post pictures of the most ridiculous plots! the one area im EXTREMELY picky about is aywhere near my house, i refuse to let a villager live right in front of me.

I'm really picky about Muffy plotting in my park area. It's still really bare, but I can't have anyone move in there, cause i'll be screwed if they do. XD
