What was the most agonizing search? Who was it for? How long did it take you? I wanna know!

I was trying to find Curt since he was one of my favorite villagers in New Leaf. I was actually surprised how fast-ish I found him.. and it was in the campsite. LOL But I was so new to the game and got so annoyed how long it took for him to move in didn't know you can turn off the game and kick someone you don't want.

I've gone through 75 nmt run with nobody showing
and I've gone through ONE and found a dreamie

so rng hates both me and my island

I once went through over 100 NMTs - I wasn’t looking for a specific villager, but a specific personality and ended up not meeting even one! I did learn a bunch of DIYs from the experience though.

Hang in there, and don’t be afraid to turn the sound off if you feel your grip on sanity weakening.

I went through 2,100~ NMTs before I found Lucky. During that search I took quite a few other villagers to trade for tickets.. to fund my search. Finally ended up finding my boy though!

Also to OP, who are you looking for on your hunt?

My most agonizing search was 112 NMT looking for Raymond
When I finally found him it was such a great relief
It must have taken me several hours for sure
I didn’t keep track

oh geez yeah, i did that once lmao. ketchup showed up in my campsite and kicked marshal out. i didn't know what the trick was for getting the camper to pick someone else so i just settled lol.

omg, that's brutal. the most i've done is 42. I was just searching for a peppy villager that I liked and eventually came across Merry.

I can imagine! I felt relived when I found merry on an island after 42 tries lol.
I'm not really sure who I'm looking for tbh lol. I need a smug villager but I won't say no to a cute villager like Molly lol.

First two islands were chops and marina. Chops was an immediate pass lol and Marina I'm passing on bc I feel like I can find someone else.

I've never actually went searching for villagers, It just costs way too many NMT's and I don't want to spend like 400 to get just one villager when I want 10 different so that can be thousands if im unlucky, personally I bought a few villagers and then amiibo'd the rest in

that's fair! i have a bunch of amiibo that i bought when they were sold in stores but it's kinda fun hunting for villagers imo.

up to island 8 now, i came across sly, violet, tammy, cleo, astrid and joey since finding marina.
