Chased by a Scorpion... twice in a row!

Today, on my second town, I came out of re-tail and was greeted with the SUPER SCARY hiss, and there was a Scorpion right outside re-tail! I tried to catch it but it eventually just chased me to the train station. When I came out the train station, I started going to the town hall and I saw YET ANOTHER scorpion which chased me all the way back to the train station again..

I thought this was funny and worth sharing - especially since I think scorpions are so rare and it was almost like the same one wanted me to stay in the train station haha

I have a similar story!

I was trying to catch that notorious scorpion and I saw one. It ran into the flowers and I could not see it because it was so dark! It stung me, and I "passed" out.
I arrived at my house and I still had my net out. A scorpion was OUTSIDE my house and then stung me again immediately!

Yeah it always happens when you're least expecting to see them. I ran right into one a few weeks ago, didn't need to catch it necessarily as my museum already has one but I like to collect rare bugs and fish since Genji is constantly asking for them. Anyway, didn't get chance as it bit me. I ran out and chased one over a cliff begore (accidentally). They're a bit of a pain when you're not actively searching for them and they get in the way

I ran into a scorpion a month or two ago I tried to catch it but it chased me to the cliff but right before it was able to sting me I turned around and fling my net and I ended up catching it.

The mayor in my guest town was running to the train station and ran over a tarantula. It freaked out and disappeared into the ground. At the time I didn't want a villager to ping me.

Another time one of extra players had a scorpion cornered. Just when she went to swing it moved to the right. Took off running towards the cliff and forgot that I didn't have a wetsuit on. Ran up to city hall and got inside. As the door closed the scorpion sat at the door. I wished we could record stuff like this.

One of my extra players in my main town caught a glitch tarantula. It went for the cliff but didn't jump. It was half on the edge and half hanging off. Swung the net and got it.
