My quest is at long last coming to an end. I write this to you, wearily, a mug of coffee in hand. This.... is the tall green bear that has plagued my town for MONTHS.

The face of true evil.
Now on the surface there is nothing with Charlise. I will admit that by Uchi standards she is quite cute with her dusty rose pink eyeshadow and delicately done eyeliner. The yellow blush is a bit too contrasted against her green fur but to each their own.
However... my trouble began when she plopped her house in the middle of a plot of blue roses I had *JUST* planted. "No problem.." I thought, eye twitching, "I'll just.. grow some more." For a few weeks she meandered about. I kept an eye on her. While other villagers went about their day peacefully watering flowers, I noticed she was always carrying around a fishing pole or shovel. The fishing pole was no problem. But that shovel had me worried. And then the rumors began swirling around town that she wasn't hardly getting along with any of the other villagers. My interest was piqued, I connected the dots, I had to stop Charlise before she stopped any of us.
I tell you dear reader, if you've made it this far, I tried for weeks. I approached Isabelle. I was going to report this dangerous bear living right near my precious Roost cafe. Alas... "My perfect town contains a cold blooded serial killer that hates rare flowers." was not an option to report to Isabelle. That must've been the crafty work of Charlise. I chose the next request carefully. I chose to complain about her tracksuit, stained red with the rage she held inside of her. Poor Isabelle must have been too frightened to approach the monster herself because the next day... Charlise wore that same tracksuit.
I tell you I tried everything. I reported her daily. I don't blame poor Isabelle for never following out on her promises to rid me of said reported issues. I hit her with my net on sight constantly. She would become angry, and that was frightening, but I would hold my ground. I shoved her, trapped her in her house with holes, constantly pushed her into my pitfall seed traps (Copper obviously aware of my situation as he would slip 1-2 pitfalls into the police station per day for.. "claiming"), ignoring her colds, sending her angry letters, giving her a bee when she asked for fruit, never keeping visiting appointments, NOTHING WORKED. I had several good villagers leave me because of her. Lobo.. Pietro.. Molly to name a few. Perhaps they saw how I was attempting to help the town and it frightened them.
Frustrated, I gave up. I quit speaking to the menace. And then... one beautiful day on July 31 of 2016.... she pinged me. My pulse quickened, my hold on my DS tightened. Could this be....? And so it was. Charlise, the evil green bear that has haunted me from the very time she moved it, informed me she was leaving.
I am not trying to scare you away dear reader. Rather.... inform you. Enlighten you, even. Please be aware if you choose to accept this offer that you have been forewarned. As far as I know she is completely original (I refused to sell or buy anything from her) and I never changed her catchphrase. Yes... she still yells URGH at the end of every sentence... but somehow it's more satisfying now.
Good luck.
