Charlise randomly showing up? @_@

So, I've looked in a lot of places for info on this - but can't seem to find any. For some reason, Charlise keeps popping up here and there in my main street/shops?

If I talk to her, her dialogue usually consists of things like "CheyLily! How can you be here? Oh - wait, I remember, you're the mayor of this town!" Or: "Wow Moonbeam is just how I remembered it." Or even: "Don't think I cant come back to visit anytime I want to!" I never had her in my town in the first place, so this is very confusing to me. Is she a randomly visiting character I didn't know about? The only thing I could think of is that it's my recent pwp, which is a bus stop, but on the wiki it says it does nothing but attract moths. She started showing up the day after it was installed.

Does anyone know why she's in my main street/shops? Dx

~Also my campsite is not occupied right now.

only villagers you've had are supposed to show up on main street... if you're sure you never had her, it might just be a glitch?

More than positive i've never had her - the day she showed up I checked all the houses in my town because it was such a random appearance. No notice or nothing. D:

I think I've heard of other cases of random villagers showing up in main street, though I think it's fairly rare?

I have no answer, but this happened to my brother. He had Stitches and a few other villagers from my town show up.
