Character Types??

i've noticed since being on the forum, that people tend to like to have one character of each trait and i was wondering why that is? just to have a balance?

because almost every character that i want in my town is snooty, and i was wondering if that'll be an issue? can you physically only have so many of one character trait in your town?

You can have a town full of snooties if you'd like. People usually like to have a balance of each type though (says me who has three normals, lol).

The main reason is for pwp requests. You can only get certain PWP's from certain personality types. And just for some variety in how they act.

okay, cool. i thought maybe you could only have so many of one type on your game at a time or something.

well, if it's just for publics works projects that's probably okay. chances are i'll have gotten most of what i want by the time i get to my goal villagers anyway!

People do do it for balance sometimes, and that would be my case, because I have 5/5 split in sender and 2/1/1/1 when it comes to personality splits. And there's also that people want the PWP suggestions, since those are greatly affected by the personality. It is possible to have 10 of any personality technically, but it'd be relatively difficult. Having a lot of snooties shouldn't be an issue unless you have plans that involve the wetsuit trick and PWPs that a personality that you have but something that you want as well.

There's also the matter of how well you can deal with repetitive dialogue. 10 of the same personality type would get old very quickly for me, but if you don't mind that there's no reason why you can't have multiple snooty villagers.

I just want variety, and to see every personality. (And like an above poster I have three normals, so that went out the window a little bit, but I just really really love normals. <3)

I have three normals as well cause they're just so cute *^* the rest of my dreamies are of different personalities because I really do like them + balance~ A town full of snooties is fine! Just that the dialogue repeats (same with my normals LOL) but it I don't think its that annoying.
