I haven't heard anything about this yet but do you guys think they finally made the character limit for town names higher? I really hope so. It was always a challenge to pick a name that fit in the range they gave us.

I'm sick of one word town names.
It wouldn't make sense if nintendo stuck to the 'very limited', limits. Everything else seems to have progressed. Hopefully the character limit has too.

I'm sure they will increase the limit, they have for other games so far that I've seen. I'm hoping the max will be like 12-15 characters. If they did that, then you could come up with some pretty unique town names. I already have my town name all set if they don't, but I'm thinking of coming up with some other names just in case they do raise the limit. Some longer ones of course.
