So after a few tries, I came up with an idea which I want to know if it's reliable.
If you mail, or trade/make the villager buy a shirt, it sometimes go to their house, or sometimes they put the old one for display in their house.
But I noticed in my town that, despite them doing the 'clothes fever' (when a certain shirt 'spreads' to almost all vilagers), when one of my originals changed the shirt too, the old one wasn't displayed in their house.
So I decided to make a test - I mailed ALL the villagers , despite this one, the shirt I wanted it to wear.
Then after a few tries, all villagers despite that one were wearing that shirt - and after a half hour, this villager talked to another and changed their clothes finally YAY
BUT
I can't see their house atm.
My question is, if anyone know if the old shirt has a chance of being displayed in their house like when you send them clothes, or if the old one just 'vanish' as it was a trade between villagers?
