Changing my 3DS time without messing up my game.

if you change the time on your ds, it'll change it on your game. the only way to fix this is to tell isabelle you need help before you load up the game and change it back there.

If you change the system clock, you need to adjust the in-game clock too.

Is your game on 2 months ago or is it on current time? If your game is on current time, set your 3DS to the current date and make sure Isabelle says it is the current date before you load up. If not, have her adjust it (because sometimes changing the 3DS clock can mess up the date if it isn't the same as the in-game date).
If your game is on 2 months ago as well as your 3DS, first wait until one of your villagers asks to move and stop them. If no one asks to move today, I would just wait until they do in a couple of days. Once you stop them from moving, you are free to jump to the current date and no one will have moved. Just: 1) set the 3DS to the current date; 2) load the game as your mayor and see if Isabelle thinks it is the current date; 3) if not, select the second option and have her change it to the current date. You get her to change the date before you actually load the game and everything should be okay.
If you don't want to wait for someone to ask to move and you think maybe no one is thinking of moving: 1) set the 3DS to the current date; 2) start the game as a new character; 3) go through the process and wait until you get the map; 4) if someone is missing, you need to put the 3DS back to the date it was on and stop them from moving; then, you can go up to the previous paragraph and do that.
