Change number of posts per page?

I think I've heard of this being an option but I'm not sure. Right now I can only view ten posts per page on a thread, and I'd like to know if I can change that.

Settings > General Settings > Thread Display Options > Number of Posts to Show Per Page

You can pick between 5 and 40 per page or the forum default.
