Change island name?

Honestly I quite like my island name but id like something a bit more unique and personalised. I kinda just picked the first thing i thought of which was good because i got the game on launch and was super excited to start it

I don't mind mine (Coral Key). I thought I'd keep it generic. The only way I'd change mine is if they allowed more characters in the name!

I picked out the name of my main island, Vylbrand, months in advance. The name of my second island, Kilika, I picked on the spot - but I'm still happy with it over a month and a half on. Both are FF references.

I would not. My island is Melancolia. I spent time picking out the island name as well as the character names, and so far I can’t think of anything better.
nah. I was thinking about it since the game was announced with isabelle in smash but I changed my mind at the last minute. luckily I still dont regret it
but I don't see why you shouldn't be able to change it. you and tom nook are basically the founders of the island so why not allow a name change? I know a lot of people reset just because they regret the name so I think that'd be a cool addition

I had doubts about my island name in the beginning, but now I've grown to love it, so I don't think I'd change it even if I had the chance. Also, I kinda like that in my New Leaf town I was Arize from Azulon and in New Horizons, I'm Eowyn from Ember. I didn't mean to but I guess I like going with the same starting letter for both town name and character name. XD So i really want to keep it that way!

I actually reset my town a few weeks ago because I wanted the name to be Kingdom hearts themed, which I hadn't even thought of doing when I first got the game. I'm happy with what it is now though (Destiny) c:

I wouldn't want to change the name of my island, since I am still learning German, it fits with the theme of the game, and is exactly 10 characters long. I really do enjoy my island being named Tierinsel, which by the way is German for Animal Island.

I quite like mine. My island is named Limbo and I have been slowly working toward a nature based gothic horror theme. So I don't think I would ever want to change it.

Even though "Maui" was not what I originally planned to name my island (had an issue with the character limit), I don't think I'd change it.
I’ve wanted to use Wits’ End for my town’s name since New Leaf, but due to character limitations I stuck with my Wild World town name of Charmelo. So, nope. I’ve waited long enough to finally call my town Wits’ End.
