Celeste Moves Onto Island idea

After Celeste has finished giving you all diy recipes. Next time when she visits. She would ask you to help her to build an Astrological Tower. For her to live in, on your island. How to build build the Astrological Tower. Celeste would give you a building kit. That would require a certain amount of specific materials as well. Once its built. Celeste would then move into it the following day.

You can only access visit inside of the building during late afternoon & evening hours. But is closed during most of the day.

The inside would look very large and has the astrology starscape on the ceiling from the hologram display. But after the building is built, it is blank and Celeste would want your help to help her register zodiac fragments. Which means donating a zodiac fragment to her. And you would see a little animation of it being added to the hologram display, on the ceiling.

She may also want you to craft the diy recipes for her. So they can be on display in the 3 floor rooms in the Astrological Tower. The floor rooms would be the zodiac furniture room, the hologram zodiac info room and the space room where the astronaut, UFO etc are in. Like a planet moon room.

It would be very similar to how Blathers museum is for donating things. Each things you donate to Celeste would be name & dated.

While Celeste is living on your island. She can even broadcast meteor shower dates when the next ones would happen. So Celeste would not just tell you when the next meteor shower date is. But she would also have an automated bulletin message on the plaza mentioning about it as well.

When donating the items to Celeste. She would also give you something in return. Such as an alien outfit. A laser drill to use as a tool on rocks to instantly get all rock streak hits faster. Some models to decorate & place in your house. And other rewards for donating

Well at least players would be able to make sure they have a spot for the Astrological Tower to be built at on their island somewhere. Since a lot of players have mostly designed their islands.

Could also give people motivation to try and get all of her recipes. I used Turnip Exchange every morning to find her until I had all the recipes. Now it's just the astrological ones I need.

Great idea, OP. Perhaps unlock it after the base recipes are received, then you can visit her at the start of each new astrological month for that recipe.

to get all her recipes without anyone time traveling you have to wait almost a full year. a bit long to get such a cute building

Considering the slow pace of updates, and that they're coming over the space of 2-3 years, this seems entirely fitting to me. And you can speed it up by visiting people. I've got all her recipes other than the zodiac items just through having a few friends on Celeste watch.

It takes just as long (if not longer) to interact with Gulliver 30 times to get the Golden Shovel recipe, and enough broken parts to craft the Robot thing, but folks aren't complaining too much about either of those.

Using Turnip Exchange once a day significantly reduced the time it took for me to get all the Celeste recipes, again, minus the astrological ones.

It'd be fun if she set up shop in an observatory again to and you could create constellations to check out during the night.

It's an interesting idea, but honestly, I'd never get that to happen because I never see her on my island.

I personally would love this idea to be real since I have all the Celeste recipes (aside from the zodiac ones) and she is honestly pretty useless now ): she’s one of my favorite NPCs and it’s sad that she doesn’t have more of a role

Even if it was to build a concert hall for Ozzy Osbourne to perform in.

..... Well maybe then.

It would be nice if she got her place in the museum back though, both the shop and observatory. ^_^

In my opinion, the perfect setup for Celeste would be the shop in the museum, but also keeping her current role. So, some nights you can go and the shop will be closed and that's how you know she's out about the island.

I love the idea of Celeste being a more permanent feature on the island rather than just showing up randomly in the evenings sometimes, but I think it would be more possible to incorporate her into the current museum as that's a role she has had in the past

I like this idea! I miss seeing Celeste all the time, so having her being permanently put down on my island is great! It would be even more of a good idea if we could do the constellations again, like we had back in the older games.

The thought of new buildings stresses me out since I wouldn't know where to put them, but I like this idea! I would definitely find space for an astrological tower. It also brings back memories of Celeste's Observatory from the TBT fair.

i’m not sure why but this part reminded me of the “core memories” from inside out aha.

this could be neat, though! i’m not sure how i’d feel about this exact idea but anything that involves seeing celeste more often is definitely fine by me ☺
